Divisive Mast Newspaper

Today we want to expose this acrimonious Mast Newspaper owned by Socialist Party Leader Fred M’membe through his wife.

Interestingly, the Mast newspaper is managed by Jeremy Munthali, a former press secretary in Ankara, Turkey.

Jeremy was recalled along with other diplomats, including Warran Simwaka, who also manages the Daily Nation newspaper.

M’membe claims he wants to unite the country if elected president.

However, the hate exhibited in this newspaper raises questions about whether he would allow dissenting voices.

The hatred for President Hakainde Hichilema by Fred M’membe is extraordinary.

Why does Fred M’membe harbor such strong animosity towards Hakainde Hichilema?

Journalistic ethics demand fair coverage, including those with differing views. Clearly, M’membe’s approach suggests he may not be the leader who values diverse opinions.

Leadership demands that you allow views of those you may not like.

We expect Jeremy Munthali, the managing editor, to do the right thing, but unfortunately, that’s not the case.

We are not asking you to be praise singers because there is enough but give fair and balanced news coverage. Below are the last 35 copies of the Mast Newspaper
