KAWAMBWA RESIDENTS BRAVE THE RAIN TO CHOSE NEW LAWMAKER

VOTING in the highly anticipated Kawambwa Central constituency Parliamentary by-election is underway.

A morning check by the Falcon News crew can confirm that the turnout has been impressive despite heavy rains that began around 07:00hrs to 10:00hrs.

Below is the breakdown of the voting pattern in the polling stations visited while the heavens remained open.

At Civic Center polling station out of 1,874, registered voters

127 votes had been cast while at St Mary’s Primary School 234, people cast their vote out of 1,398 registered voters.

At Chisheta Primary School, 86 people had voted out of 679 official records, with 113 votes cast out of 481 registered voters at Kawambwa Technical Secondary School.
