Paramount Chief Mphezeni of the Ngoni speaking people says President Hakainde Hichilema will be re-elected in August 13, general elections going by his deliverables.
The Paramount Chief has described President Hichilema as the best president in his 43 years on the throne, saying he is the best president so far, who has delivered the most significant development the country has witnessed.
The traditional leader’s position adds to sentiments expressed by various stakeholders in the economy, reinforcing the position that President Hichilema has no competitor in the August 13 elections.
Analysts, both domestic and international, have hailed President Hichilema as a resilient, dedicated leader and achiever who has managed to revive the struggling economy he inherited.
“Panchito zonse President Hakainde Hichilema wacita awina mu 2026,” said Paramount Chief Mpezeni
Inyandezulu Inkosi Yamakhosi says, going by the works done by the United Party for National Development (UPND) and President Hichilema, victory is certain for the ruling party.
The traditional ruler said, “I have seen all Presidents come and go. From my analysis, President Hichilema is winning in 2026. From what I have seen, President Hakainde Hichilema apita.”

There is an old adage which says “What an elderly man is able to see while he is seated, a young man cannot see it, even if he climbs on top of the mountain.
The traditional ruler has openly said it that going by the works delivered by government, victory is certain for President Hichilema.
His Royal Highness pointed at free education policy and the school feeding programme as life changing programmes that have positively impacted society. He observed that children used to sit on the floor, but they were now leaning in a clean environment.
Tangible developments are positively impacting both rural and urban communities, yet the opposition politics do not even have a single alternative policy to those being implemented.
The opposition should come to terms with the fact that President Hakainde Hichilema has consolidated a national appeal through his inclusive national policies, such as expanded social protection programmes and free education initiatives.
The activation and full implementation of the decentralisation policy have won the president praise from ordinary citizens, who now feel included in the distribution of resources.
Citizens feel part of this government as they can participate in CDF projects, which are decided by the communities themselves and not the central government.
Inyandezulu Inkosi Yamakhosi is not the first traditional ruler to loud the development delivered by the UPND government.
