The Right Reverend Bishop Evans Chinyama Chinyemba, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Mongu, has urged Zambians to ignore politicians with a history of promoting violence and embezzling public funds.
Bishop Chinyemba says such individuals, who have impoverished the nation, should not be entertained.
Bishop Chinyemba was speaking during historic celebration marking 200 years of papal approval of the Constitution and Rules of the Missionary Oblates within the Catholic Church.
“Please Ignore anyone who comes to you who has history of entertaining violence who has history entertaining stolen things for the nation, who has history of anything that is not life giving for the nation. Such characters have impoverished the nation, said Bishop Chinyemba.
He said whoever has the history of violence, stealing he or she is not part of Western Province
Meanwhile Chinyemba has urged people in western province to turn up in numbers and makes submissions in the Electoral commission of Zambia delimitation consultations exercise.
Bishop Chinyemba has encouraged people to actively participate in the delimitation exercises across various districts in the province.
