The behavior of the PF-Pamodzi Alliance in disrupting proceedings at the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ)’s presidential aspiring candidates’ consultative meeting is uncalled for and shows a high-level of immaturity.
Zambians should strongly condemn and detest such hooliganism and thuggery behaviour sponsored by thugs who want to govern this country. 
The behaviour during the stakeholder meeting should send a strong message to Zambians that leaders from the previous regime have not repented from their criminality and thuggish behaviour.
The PF Pamodzi alliance’s behaviour is absolutely appalling and a complete disgrace. The former ruling party’s conduct is utterly reprehensible and shows a lack of respect for others.
The opposition’s behaviour was disgusting and totally outrageous, a shameful display of disrespect to the people of Zambia who they to lobby votes from.
The PF Pamodzi Alliance’s conduct is appalling and a gross violation of basic decency and should not be entertained.
Stakeholders at a recent consultative meeting held by the ECZ expressed disappointment and frustration following protests and disruptive behaviour from PF Pamodzi Alliance.
Political commentators say the behaviour by the Makebi Zulu-led team is testimony that the former ruling party and its leaders have not reformed from their thuggish behaviour.
“What has changed today? ECZ and political party aspiring presidential hopefuls has always been a closed-door engagement, and media is always allowed during the opening and closing of the event,” noted one observer.
During the consultative engagement meetings in 2021 with political party presidential candidates, the media was allowed for the official opening and closing of the meeting.
The meeting was for presidential aspiring candidates and not any other persons.
“Why was Wright Musona, the Pamodzi Alliance agent, creating unnecessary drama during the meeting?
Makebi Zulu kept quiet whilst hooligans were shouting on top of their voices, disrupting the well attended meeting.
Leadership demands someone to behave above board and show maturity in such engagements.
What kind of leader is Makebi? He left his supporters echo through the venue, words laced with venom and profanity.
Zambians expect maturity from individuals who claim to serve the country, especially those that have been in power before.
What Makebi Zulu’s supporters did was embarrassing and they should apologise to the ECZ and the people of Zambia and its people.
The behaviour by Makebi Zulu’s supporters was absolutely abhorrent and a complete travesty and sickening. It shows a serious lack of seriousness attached to the event.
Mundubile and his cronies know they stand no chance of winning the August 13 general election. But reducing the event to drama and outdoing each other is foolishness of the highest order.
The meeting, held at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, was part of a broader engagement with political parties and aspiring presidential candidates regarding the 2026 general elections.
The commission called for serious, in-depth interactions meant to benefit the country’s electoral system, not comical displays the country was subjected to by the PF Pamodzi alliance members.
