Lugwalo Remains with Chabinga

The Editor Zambia

Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa, during the week, claimed that he had made changes to the official office bearers of the Patriotic Front (PF) at the Registrar of Societies.

This followed the high court ruling to the effect that Sampa’s decision or action to dismiss party secretary general Morgan Ng’ona was legally done.

Sampa did not waste time engaging in propaganda acts and claimed that the office of the Registrar of Societies had made amendments to the office bearers of the former ruling party.

How, faction PF president Robert Chabinga has produced evidence to show that no such amendments were made to the office bearers of the PF by the Registrar of Societies. This revelation is proof that Sampa was misleading the public.

Political commentators also warned that propaganda, malice, and lies will not propel the opposition political party to win elections.

Sampa’s desperation has been likened to “scoring an own goal.”

The latest documents produced by Chabinga show that there have been no changes made to the office bearers at the Registrar of Societies.

Two days ago, the Given Lubinda-led PF faction went into frenzy, celebrating after Sampa circulated a notice that he had successfully changed party office bearers at the Registrar of Societies, and some people took him seriously.

But the latest records show otherwise. Robert Chabinga is still the legal leader of the former ruling party with Morgan Ng’ona as secretary general. No changes have been made, and this renders Sampa’s claimed victory a nullity.

The former ruling party’s political ideology is anchored on propaganda, lies, and tribalism.

Sampa’s claims may have misled the whole nation to believe that he had scored another major victory against Chabinga by changing the office bearers of the former ruling party.

Sampa has since been challenged to counter Chabinga’s evidence.

Sampa is still appearing in court for deceptive communication after claiming that the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) had set up a fake polling centre during the parliamentary by-election.
