Why is the opposition jittery about President Hakainde Hichilema’s comments on the levels of hate in the political space?
Especially the Patriotic Front (PF) and Socialist Party members, if they mean well and don’t harboir hate, why are they unsettled? Why are they disturbed?
Why haven’t they picked other, more important issues like the economic recovery and growth, agriculture policy shift, unity, dialogue, and peace?
Like the Bible say in Matthew 7:16: “By their deeds you will know them. Does a man gather grapes from thorns or figs from briars?”
All that President Hichilema pointed out was that the level of hatred by certain individuals was shocking.

“The level of hatred for me is shocking… you can touch the venom… I didn’t choose where I was born.” — President Hakainde Hichilema pointed out.
From the tone of his voice, you could tell that the President is in pain.
This is too much pain for any citizen to be subjected to due to his ethnicity.
On surface, one would wrongly think President Hakainde Hichilema is overplaying the tribal thing concerning the hatred against him.
Yet this is real and the primary reason we have the wolf pack baying for his blood. It is ethnic and nothing else.
Today, the tribal ensemble has gathered, statements flying all over. Its press briefing after another.
If you do not harbour hate against Hakainde Hichilema, the President, why are you all over saying all sorts of things?
Tribalists and Haters have been exposed. Haters have been exposed. We shall not name them by name, but we can make you can see them.
As the Bible say “By their deeds you will know them”. And here we are, you will hear them by their comments.
President Hichilema, in his press address, started by setting out the economic recovery, first, and then progress that the country has made since taking office.
The President talked about the reforms in the agriculture sector and the energy sector.
The President explained that his government has pushed in reforms to allow for independent power producers to invest in energy.
The President called for dialogue with those aggrieved by certain issues, saying the doors of State House remain open.
The Head of State called for unity, adding that he will not allow violence to return in public or private spaces in the country.
Haters and known tribalists have no comment on this these matters, but they can only comment where it hurts them the most, HATE.
