FACTION Patriotic Front (PF) secretary general Brenda Nyirenda has launched intra-party campaigns against Makebi Zulu through Kanele FM in Lundazi.
Ms. Nyirenda describes Makebi Makebi as a small boy in Zambian politics and, therefore, should stay away from the PF presidential race. 
The Lundazi lawmaker said Makebi Zulu should continue with his role as the late 6th president Edgar Chagwa Lungu’s family spokesperson.
Ms. Nyirenda has also accused Makebi Zulu of blackmailing political opponents by claiming that he was Edgar Lungu’s chosen successor to the PF leadership.
The Lundazi lawmaker is reported to have dispatched her media team from Kanele FM to go round eastern province and get videos and comments against Makebi Zulu.
Ms. Nyirenda is also alleged to have paid some traditional leaders in Eastern Province to denounce and reject Makebi Zulu’s PF leadership bid on the national broadcaster and other radio stations.
