Nakacinda has since written Mwila, giving his predecessor and seven others seven days to show cause why they should not be expelled from the party.

Nakachinda accused Mwila and others of holding an illegal central committee meeting in South Africa at which Mwila, who is the former PF secretary general, was found interviewing Mudolo to be the party’s presidential candidate in next year’s general elections.

“Nakacinda is upset that Mwila and others collected huge sums of money and vehicles from Mudolo,” sources with the knowledge of the shinnanigans in the former ruling party revealed.

In response to the allegations brought against him, Mwila said he sees nothing wrong to get money from Mudolo when Nakacinda and Given Lubinda also got colossal sums of money from the same financier during the funeral of the late sixth Republican President Edgar Chagwa Lungu who died in a South African hospital on June 5, 2025 and remain unburied for more than two months now.

Meanwhile, Lubinda is said to have given Nakacinda authority to proceed with the expulsions.
