… ‘Judas Iscariot’ is one who causes his employees to be thrown on the street because of their selfishness

‘Judas Iscariot’ is the one who caused The Post newspaper to be closed because of selfishness, causing employees to be thrown on the streets, says Ministry of Transport and Logistics principal public relations officer and Media Liaison Committee member (MLC) Ernest Chanda. 
And Chanda says he was already trained as a journalist when he was hired to serve at The Post, the training he said could not be achieved through a “three-month workshop.”
Last week, during the World Press Freedom Day (WPFD) celebration at Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka, Socialist Party (SP) leader Dr. M’membe said some people that were trained at very high cost during The Post newspaper days had today become ‘Judas Iscariots’ on media regulation.
Chanda and Brighton Phiri served together at The Post and in the defunct newspaper’s Press Freedom Committee of The Post and they have continued to serve together in the MLC, a media body which is pushing for statutory regulation.
