A UNITED States of America citizen has sued Protea Hotel Lusaka Tower for breach of care after it allegedly failed to safely store his jacket, which he forgot in a room.
Zilani Mhango is also demanding damages for intentional distress and inconvenience cause on him after the hotel falsely reported him to Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) leading to his illegal detention.
Mr Mhango further seeks compensation for endangering his life and health when DEC seized his medicines at the instance of the hotel’s false report.
