NKANA MP, BINWELL MPUNDU CALLS NORTH WESTERNERS FOOLS

By Chiti Manga

LOUD mouth Nkana Member of Parliament, Binwell Chansa Mpundu, has insulted the people of North Western Province, calling them fools.

Mpundu, who has been mooting the idea of forming an initiative called the “Movement for Good Governance,” or Ichabaiche,” insulted the people of North Western province on his Facebook page.
One of his followers, with a profile name GEORGEc, expressed concern on the independent member of Parliament’s manner to post a social media video clip in which the truant fugitive Francis Kapwepwe, socially known as Why Me, is insulting the President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.

“It’s unfortunate that you post him (Why Me) on your official page,” GEORGEc wrote on Mr. Mpundu’s official Facebook page.
In response, the MP unashamedly wrote back and said,” GEORGEc, yes, I have posted him the same way you post those fools from North Western Province.”
The MP’s insults to the people of North Western Province attracted condemnation from wider social media readers, with some describing the MP’ manner of reasoning as uncultured and childish.

Mpundu, along with other Edgar Lungu led Patriotic Front (PF) faction leaders, including vice president, Given Lubinda, are funding Why Me to continue insulting the President. The PF faction of former President Edgar Lungu has since taken Why Me into hiding in order to avoid prosecution by law enforcement departments.
