A VERY reliable source within the circles of the Patriotic Front (PF) says Sean Sean E. Tembo , a senior member of the Tonse Alliance is being undermined intentionally by some people from the PF. The source has told The Candidates that PF faction Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda, Vice President Given Lubinda and others are undermining Tembo because they suspect he is leaning towards Brian Mundubile.
There is a fierce fight within PF among ‘presidential hopefuls’ who paid the nomination fees in PF for the party president race. Following the declaration of Lungu’s ineligibility by the Constitution, these PF hopefuls are doing everything to outdo each other. Factions have been formed within PF among cadres whereas, others are aligning themselves with Lubinda who is said to be interested to lead the Tonse Alliance while others are supporting Mundubile.
Mutotwe Kafwaya who is Lunte MP is also another candidate who has a significant following within the PF. 
However, a source who opted to remain unknown says Sean Tembo was intentionally embarrassed and undermined when he issued a statement indicating the Tonse Alliance would not attend the ALL OPPOSITION PRESSER, but was surprised to spot Lubinda and Nakacinda attending the press briefing in style.
In a move to control the damage, Tembo who seats in the Council of Presidents for Tonse and is technically senior to both Lubinda and Nakacinda, was assigned by Edgar Lungu the Tonse Alliance Chairman, to represent him today at the induction of Rev. Dr. Kenneth Kasezya at Chelstone Anglican Church.
