A 25-year-old woman has allegedly been raped in Livingstone, Southern Province, while in the company of her boyfriend.
The incident occurred on Saturday, March 8, 2025, around 21:00 hours in the Livingstone Golf Course area.
Southern Province Police Commanding officer Auxensio Daka confirmed the incident, stating that the woman was attacked while with her boyfriend. 
Mr Daka said the couple was walking through the golf course when they encountered a man dressed in a grey uniform, who accused them of trespassing.
The suspect then led them into a nearby bush, ordered them to completely undress, and proceeded to whip the woman’s boyfriend before instructing him to run away.
Mr Daka said the attacker then whipped the woman before repeatedly raping her over a period of three hours.
“The man later fled the scene, taking with him the personal belongings of both the woman and her boyfriend,” he said.
