Where is Former President Edgar Lungu?
The concern about former President Edgar Lungu’s whereabouts is understandable, given his status as a former head of state. It’s been two weeks since he left the country for medical checkups, and the lack of updates from Emmanuel Mwamba, chairperson information in faction PF has raised questions among Zambians. As a former president, his health and well-being are of public interest, and it’s reasonable to expect some level of transparency.
The fact that President Lungu “sneaked out” of the country has also sparked curiosity, and many are wondering why he didn’t make his trip public knowledge. As a public figure, his actions and decisions are subject to scrutiny, and the secrecy surrounding his trip has only added to the speculation. 
It’s not about playing politics, but about being transparent and accountable to the people. Emmanuel Mwamba, as a spokesperson of faction PF and regular commentator should, should provide updates on his condition and whereabouts. A briefing from Mr. Lungu himself would be even more reassuring, putting to rest any rumors or concerns about his health.
After all, as a former head of state, his well-being is a matter of national interest, and Zambians deserve to know that he’s doing well. The lack of information has only fueled speculation, and it’s time for some clarity on the matter.
