In a statement, Muwema assured beneficiaries that payments would be processed promptly upon completion of assigned tasks.

The local authority further urged beneficiaries to ensure that their mobile money accounts are active and registered under names matching their National Registration Cards (NRCs) to prevent delays, a challenge that has affected payments in previous months.

The council also called on Ward Development Committees and other stakeholders to submit beneficiary details on time to expedite the processing of payments.
