Chikankata Member of Parliament Jacqueline Sabao has emphasized the importance of teaching young people to become responsible individuals who can contribute to national development.
Speaking during an end-of-year party celebration held at Chieftainess Mwenda’s palace in Chikankata district, Ms. Sabao stressed that the youth should be well-cultured to grow into responsible citizens. 
The event, which brought together members of the Basanje Tonga speaking people of Mapazya, was also attended by Senior Village Headman Nalipapa.
He expressed the community’s appreciation for the New Dawn Administration and Ms. Sabao’s effective representation in Parliament.
Headman Nalipapa urged the people of Chikankata to rally behind President Hakainde Hichilema and Ms. Sabao in the 2026 general elections, citing their satisfactory performance.
