KONKOLA Copper Mines (KCM) has acquired a state of the art team bus for FAZ Division One outfit Aguila Football Club.
Speaking during the end of year thanksgiving and official unveiling of the new kit for the 2025 season in Lusaka, KCM Corporate Communications Director Masuzyo Ndhlovu disclosed that the bus which is specifically being manufactured for Aguila FC is expected to be in the country soon.
And Mr. Ndhlovu also disclosed that KCM has increased its monthly grant to Aguila FC from K270, 000 to K2.3 million. 
The KCM Corporate Communications Director further stated that his firm is so far pleased with the team’s performance in the FAZ Division one campaign and urged them to work extra hard to win promotion to the Premier League.
Mr. Ndlovu said this is just the beginning of KCM’s support to Aguila and assured that the mining giant will do more to ensure that the team becomes one of the top teams in the country.
Speaking earlier, Aquila FC President Chembe Chibwe thanked KCM through Vedanta Resources for the support the firm has continued to offer to his team since 2022.
Chibwe further challenged his technical bench and the players to replicate the support from KCM by ensuring that they perform well and win promotion to the FAZ super league.
