The Chienge District Commissioner has appealed to the Constituency Development Fund Committee (CDFC) to collaborate with the local council to deliver development projects effectively.
Speaking during the CDFC orientation meeting, the District Commissioner warned that those frustrating government efforts will face consequences. The meeting aimed to orient CDFC members on their roles and responsibilities in managing constituency development funds. 
Sub-Chief Nongo, representing the traditional leadership, emphasized the importance of serving the people of Chienge without bias. He encouraged the CDFC to speak with one voice and work together to achieve development goals.
Mr. Mwape, a representative from the National Assembly, provided professional guidance to the CDFC. He stressed the importance of confidentiality and warned committee members to avoid bribery and corruption.
The orientation meeting was part of efforts to ensure that CDFC members understand their roles and responsibilities in managing constituency development funds. The meeting aimed to promote transparency, accountability, and effective management of development projects in Chienge district.
