Clergywoman from Mazabuka, Bishop Sheila Kalubi, has advised couples experiencing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) to open up and seek help.
Speaking on Byta FM’s “The Social Scope with Joe” program, Bishop Kalubi emphasized the importance of speaking out and seeking assistance from relevant institutions.
She noted that many couples are suffering in silence, and it is essential to create awareness about GBV.
Bishop Kalubi further called for the involvement of various stakeholders in addressing GBV.
This year’s 16 Days of Activism against GBV is being held under the theme “Towards a Generation Equality: Unite to End Violence Against Women and Girls.”
