The Zambia Under-20 Women’s National Team has continued their winning streak at the ongoing COSAFA women’s Championship, beating hosts South Africa 3-nil in their second match.
This is the second victory for the young Copper Queens in two days, following their 9-nil thrashing of Lesotho yesterday.
RUTH MUWOWO and SALIYA MWANZA delivered stunning strikes in the second half, while JESSY ZULU sealed the win with a late penalty.

Speaking to the press after the match, MBEWE credited the team’s victory to following the coach’s instructions.
Meanwhile, Young Copper Queens Coach CHARLES HAALUBONO has praised the girls for their impressive performance in the tournament so far.
He said despite the limited training opportunities, they adhered to their strategy and delivered a strong performance.
