Lusaka deputy mayor Ketty Nanyangwe was this morning called by Kulima Tower bus station chairman Nicholas Banda over flooding.
The situation has negatively affected the market.
Immediately, she called town clerk Liftery Ndaba and demanded that the contractors engaged be on the ground first thing tomorrow in the whole Lusaka central business district.
Nanyangwe also promised the Kulima Tower drivers and traders that a fire engine will be provided tomorrow to pump out water from the bus station.
