The abnormal load completed a movement of 118 kilometres after it commenced its journey from Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park Gate to a place 10 kilometres away from Kalomo Central Business District (CBD).
The Cold Box Unit will this morning, resume its movement, and is expected to pass through Kalomo CBD.
The Road Development Agency (RDA) reiterates its stern caution on the need for members of the public to adhere to road safety measures when viewing the equipment as it passes through various towns and cities.
Members of the public are urged to maintain a clear distance and MUST not touch the Cold Box Unit as it transits through the CBDs.
This abnormal load is 64 metres in length, 5.7 metres in width and 7.2 metres in height, making it one the largest loads transported on Zambian roads.
