ZESCO PRESENTS NATIONAL ENERGY OUTLOOK AND FUTURE PLANS TO MITIGATE ENERGY DEFICIT AT ANNUAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE CONFERENCE

The Government of the Republic of Zambia through the National Power Utility, ZESCO Limited is implementing various short-medium-and-long-term measures to address the current drought induced hydropower generation deficit facing the country.

In celebrating the Chartered Institute of Customer Management, Annual Customer Experience Conference which officially opened today, 31 October 2024 at Avani Hotel in Livingstone, ZESCO took advantage of the conference to explain the strategic short-medium-and-long-term measures being undertaken to address the national energy deficit.

Addressing delegates from different corporate institutions, ZESCO Senior Regional Manager-South-West, Given Moonde gave an overview of the country’s power outlook and the company’s future energy investment.

The 2024 Chartered Institute of Customer Management, Annual Customer Experience Conference is being celebrated under the theme: Deriving Economic Value by Delivering Above and Beyond.
